Another success: Milestone 3 achieved – prototype available at daygnostics AG

As planned, the two prototypes to detect Listeria and Salmonella environmental monitoring and food control (for eggs, meat, ricotta and salmon) could be finalized on budget and time by end of May.

More than expected: Improved performance data are available not only for environmental monitoring, but also for food control samples.
Enrichment times have been reduced from formerly 12 hours (Listeria) to 10 hours and from formerly 9 hours (Salmonella) to 6 hours. The industrial partner’s target was 24 hours.
The internal control also works perfectly for both types, environmental monitoring and food control.

Next steps

For intense testing and validation measurements, the prototypes will be moved to our industrial partners.
